Time to take a day trip into Wales. Instead of going to the big city of Cardiff, we slipped by and down the coast a bit to the seaside town of Penarth, and we were really glad we did.
After a great seafood lunch, we took a walk on the pier, and then up the seaside promenade, enjoying the sea view and the beautiful buildings.
Penarth is part of the 870 mile Wales Coastal Path.
